Deep Trauma Healing

Beyond talking about the past.

Not all trauma and distressing memories are obvious. Sometimes, our brain protects itself by pushing painful or overwhelming experiences out of awareness. Even so, these experiences can continue to shape how you feel, respond, and relate. These memories may show up as anxiety, sadness, or frustration that doesn’t fully make sense, or as patterns in relationships that keep repeating, or as patterns you understand but can’t seem to change. These memories can also manifest as a constant sense of pressure, unease, or a disconnection from yourself or others. Even when life looks stable, it doesn’t “feel” stable. Or even when you logically understand something, it doesn’t “feel” that way.

We specialize in:

  • Relationship & Attachment

  • Perfectionism-based trauma, chronic performance pressure, and imposter syndrome

  • Inner child and developmental trauma

  • Challenging family dynamics and relational patterns

  • Historical, collective, and intergenerational trauma; Immigration/first-generation trauma

Trauma is not only what happened, but it’s also how those experiences were stored in the mind and body. That is why you may have insight and understand the pattern, but your nervous system still responds to the event in the past rather than being in the present.

Utilizing our Relational-Somatic EMDR therapy approach, the deep trauma work here focuses on helping your system fully process these experiences, allowing the healing process to be precise and deeply felt. This approach allows us to work at the level where trauma is actually stored, not just cognitively, but emotionally and physiologically, to create a long-lasting impact.
