About us
Nurture yourself, connect with others.
Nurture others, connect with yourself.
At Nurture & Connect, our style is built for ambitious humans and families.
Going to therapy does NOT mean you failed. Going to therapy does NOT mean you are a bad partner, mother, father, daughter, and so on.
Going to therapy means you are willing to look an issue in the eye, and say, “This issue will not control my life anymore.”
Going to therapy means you are willing to face what’s difficult, tackle the issues that are holding you back, and have a mindset for growth.
We draw from EMDR, somatic & attachment-focused therapy, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches, while offering direction and support.
We balance space to talk and go deep with new perspectives, exercises, and specific tools you can use in your daily life.
Continuing education is a core part of how we care for our clients. We are always learning, pursuing advanced training, and expanding our skills so we can bring thoughtful, flexible, and personalized care into the work we do together.
What healing looks like:
Making decisions with more confidence, trusting yourself enough to move forward without feeling like doubt is always getting in the way.
Resting, seeing friends, or enjoying a slow Saturday without feeling like you should be doing something more productive.
Saying what you need without immediately worrying that you disappointed someone.
Noticing that criticism, conflict, or someone’s tone does not pull you back into old hurt quite the way it used to.
Feeling less overwhelmed or irritated by school, work, friendships, or family pressure, and more able to talk about what’s going on instead of holding everything in.
Feeling more like yourself, more hopeful about what is ahead, and more able to feel close, understood, and supported in the relationships that matter most.
